Our Mission

We are MYTSA, Mentoring Youth Through Sports Association, and our goal is to extend a helping hand to all youth regardless of economic background. We are located in Lakewood but we serve the greater Lakewodd area to include Ft. Lewis, McChord. We also have athletes from the Tacoma and Spanaway areas. Our goal is to help our student athletes gain life skills such as teamwork, individual responsibility, accountability and community involvement.

We use sports as our forum to attract today's youth to join in the fun. We coach each youth not only in their chosen sports arena, but we also mentor them in their schoolwork by offering tutoring and homework assistance.

We invite you to consider our organization for your youth sports experience. We are a non-profit organization offering an outlet for all youth of all diverse backgrounds. One of our core beliefs is no youth should be kept out of sports because of economics. For this reason we extend a helping hand to all youth by offering low cost registration fees and scholarships for our quality program.
